How to Use This Changelog
Every time the centralized catalog (data/ai/llm-catalog.json) is updated, a new entry is added to the changelog with the date, version, and a list of changes. This creates a durable historical record of pricing and capability changes across all providers. When a provider drops prices, you can see exactly when it happened and by how much.
FAQ
How often is this changelog updated?
Whenever a provider changes pricing, releases a new model, or deprecates an old one, we update the catalog and add a changelog entry. The "last updated" timestamp in the toolbar reflects the most recent change.
Can I see historical pricing?
The changelog describes what changed at each version. For full historical pricing snapshots, each version of the catalog JSON is preserved in version control.
Why do prices change so frequently?
The AI market is highly competitive. Providers drop prices to gain market share, release cheaper tier variants, and introduce new models that replace older ones at different price points. Tracking these changes is essential for accurate budgeting.
